Theatre for Young America’s Outreach & Education Program brings the power of theatre beyond the stage and directly into schools and communities through touring productions, interactive workshops, and customized educational experiences. Theatre for Young America’s mission is to foster the education and emotional growth of young people through the creative art of drama.
Theatre Workshops Ages 4+!
Theatre for Young America brings interactive, theatre-based learning directly to schools, early childhood programs, homeschool groups, nonprofits, private organizations, community groups, after school programs, and more.
Every workshop uses developmentally appropriate theatre-based activities, which may include acting, improvisation, character work, storytelling, movement, puppetry, masks, costumes, props, sound, collaborative creation, and more. Activities are selected based on the age of the participants, the goals of the workshop, and the needs or interests of the group.
Organizations may choose from pre-developed workshops or work with TYA to create a customized experience around specific needs, curriculum, goals, topics, or interests.

Flexible Scheduling & Pricing: Every group is different! Workshops can be scheduled individually, combined into longer sessions, offered as half-day or full-day experiences, and/or reoccurring sessions.
Pricing is based on 50-minute increments:

Familiar stories come to life through professional live theatre, giving young children an engaging and age-appropriate introduction to the excitement of storytelling and performance, without leaving your school!
